Coming Together While Being Apart

Over the course of COVID-19’s business discruption, CivTech’s leadership team has taken steps to ensure our staff has the resources to power through this period. We have had the ability to work from remote locations for the last 10 years. Our primary goal, throughout the lifespan of this company, is to provide excellent results from any location. COVID-19 should not impact the speed or ability of our teams to provide timely responses. We have more than tripled our communication from using Zoom, FaceTime, Skype, Trello, and Slack to ensure readiness and continuity during a contingency period. We are prepared to follow all governmental guidelines without an interruption in the services we provide our clients.

People always find a way to do good and will continue to do so, even when they are socially distancing. We know this virus cannot stop the human spirit, with new and innovative approaches, CivTech is equipped to deliver and collaborate to create the creative solutions you have come to expect when working with us. Stay healthy, be well, and reach out if there is anything we can do to be of assistance.

New Hire Announcement – Director of Design

Success starts with having the right people. Our people-focused culture empowers our staff and recognizes them as the greatest contributors. The CivTech team has goal-oriented professionals that are creators, leaders and pioneers. It comes as no surprise that we wrangled in our new Director of Design, Jay Yenerich! Jay is on the forefront of the Smart City movement and will aid clients to navigate this new and emerging technology. He is responsible for business development in the areas of traffic design, ITS, and transit.

Jay is a well-known figure in our industry with 23 years of experience. Jay comes to us from Valley Metro where he was instrumental as the Manager Capital Development. He is experienced on a wide variety of transit and highway projects participating in the planning, design and construction of projects. Jay led procurements and negotiated scope and fees for over $50 million of design and construction work. Additionally, his experience includes implementing transit signal priority, ITS design, fiber optic design, corridor and environmental impact studies, construction cost estimation, and intersection, roadway, and freeway interchange design.
